It’s so good we are out of lockdown (again) and the Martha Salt Music gigs are firing up.
We have the fabulous Kelly Auty Band joining us on the 14th August and ticket sales are open again. Kelly is bringing her band of brothers pianist Boris Conley, bassist Rob Hornbuckle and drummer Nick Carrafa to play blues, roots, R&B and country – a fine mix of fabulous classics and originals from their 2018 Memphis tour.
Energetic, fun, heartfelt and inspired! Tickets are already selling and it’s strictly ‘first in best dressed’ under COVID restrictions, so get in early (and be assured of full refund if we go down the tunnel again!)
There were only a couple of tables left for The Jump Cats when we had to reschedule. The new date is Saturday 21st August, and a huge thanks to all those ticket holders who agreed to transfer to the new date. A full refund has been provided to those who couldn’t make the new date.
Collard Greens and Gravy have also rescheduled until 11th September, and all ticket holders have agreed to the new date! Thank you for your support, really appreciated! As I said last time, you have to hear Ian Collard play blues harmonica to believe just how good he is. Come hear why CGG won the Australian Recording Industry Association’s top award for blues and roots.
Martha Salt will have The Checkerboard Lounge with us on the 28th August. This band recently recorded in Sun Studio Memphis whilst representing Australian in the International Blues Challenge. Tickets are back on sale now and you can read more here: marthasalt.com.au/
