The cream of STAX records in Memphis worked with the McNaMarr Project to create their debut album ‘Holla & Moan’ which entered the Australian charts at #2, with rave reviews in the US and Europe. Their latest ‘Run With Me’ is simply outstanding.

Multi-award-winning blues artists John McNamara and Andrea Marr have both carved a niche for themselves on the international blues scene with many accolades to their names. Although they grew up worlds apart the moment they first sang together there was an instant musical connection that has now being called “A Musical Match made in Heaven.” Their shared love of the soul greats such as Mavis Staples, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding & Tina Turner created an uncanny ability for Andrea and John to blend their voices, complimenting each other and pushing one another to new musical heights.
The Collaboration began after their respective solo albums ‘Rolling With It’ and ‘Natural’ both had chart success both in Australia and in the US, John & Andrea formed the McNaMarr Project then enlisted the cream of STAX records players in Memphis to create their debut album ‘Holla & Moan’ released on August 30th 2019. The album entered the Australian Blues and Roots Charts at #2 receiving rave reviews in Australia, in the US and throughout Europe.
