DAN DINNEN & SHORTY dish out an original bluesy gumbo of rootsy goodness, seasoned with a touch of delta swamp, a spoonful of hill country, and very much its own unique flavour.
Dan sings, plays finger-style guitar and howls into the harp. With Anthony “Shorty” Shortte, a percussionist with a unique rolling, rollicking, juke-joint style they cook up a storm. Both have represented Australia on Beale Street, Memphis USA.
Dan pens original blues-infused tunes and bends the country folk blues to his own will. Anthony “Shorty” Shortte is a drummer / percussionist held in high regard Australia wide for his work with ARIA award winning blues acts like Collard Greens and Gravy.
